welcome back, Da-niu!

Apart of saying good-byes, we have sweet welcomes to greet...
here we are, at the same old spot - gather up for Daniel Moo, who'd just back from his 1-year training from Raleigh, US by CISCO.
It's been quite a 'coincidence' we picked back Ichiban Boshi, the same spot we had his farewell! This is how we highly cherish sentimental value...kakakaka! (see William's blog) Just figure out I didn't write that entry but just a small piece of 'note' (LOL)

We had quite the same pack of people...just short of VoonFei, DaoBin, Teresa, XinWei and Denise. =p It's not been easy to meet-up with Daniel....after his 'prison-break' scene for self-quarantine... *classic, very classic one* LOL~i just can't keep myself laughing, remembering him telling me how he survive 7 days alone, without any internet access and just food sent in for him.

blue-couple who work together 'closely' in TM, Lai & William

alpha-mates - Daniel, ahYe, KeatMeng

me & mrs. Moo aka PingNee :)

Not much changes or any additional US accent or whatsoever american style or hip-hop of 'yo yo, check-it-out' phew~he's saved from culture-shock. He claimed that he had a 'beer-tummy' but I told him that he should leave this to only the gf to see. haha!
Maybe more of a Chinaman character we've seen from him, despite of saying 'Blueberry' as the Blackberry smartphone brand instead. (a lot of made-in-china products there apparently) LOL, we even spotted the waitress serving us, giggling there secretly at him. :P
......and soon maybe more of a Singaporean (kiasu, kiasi, kiamsiap) since he's working in Singapore by next week. See you on 9th Aug for a promising big feast yea!

in short, one year passed real fast with working life!

everything has a first and last.

mY farewell dinner @ Paddington House of Pancakes, The Garden.

time flies. It's been 2 weeks since I left my previous vibrant and fun department. Seriously, I had a lot of fun with them. They're seriously hyper, especially when there are parties and trips where alcohol take place too. LOL! I'm absolutely love when ppl said, 'work hard, play hard!' :)

The best fun I'd with them would be Port Dickson trip, where we had our team building together. My first and last trip with them. I can just tell you, it's crazy fun..LOL!

Besides of having great view and rooms in Avillion Resort... (where you can even peek your roomies when they're bathing) , the activities provided was real fun too. We have to build our own rakit and compete between teams...

crawling with the triangle bamboo...

and not to forget,
being drumped to be a 'sandman-seahorse-couple' with my boss. =.="

Too bad there's too much going on, if not there would be more fun coming on.

I know there're few of them who'll actually read my blog. ahahaha, must be surprised that I'd posted up these pics up here? Aiks, back to work. Been working my butt off lately to catch up as everything is so new to me.

Coming back soon for piles of blogpost on my tripssssss....whee! :)

sniff and sense, guys! :)

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome'. that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F--- YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

row, row, row your dragonboat~

End of the month of May is the season of dumpling...
when there's dumpling, there's dragonboat. why? go search for the chinese ancient stories ya.
I'm not here to tell the grandma stories but the 1st International Dragonboat Competition held in Putrajaya, on the first week of June.

I must say wow to the Tourism Malaysia for making a lot of effort to make Putrajaya so happening. first the fireworks, then the hot-air balloon...now this. *bravo*

Here's my companion of the day - VoonFei, Steven, KeatMeng

i love the shot. It has that Hawaii feel...with the coconut trees in frame.

I've never experienced a dragonboat competition, hence the excitement.
plus I've always adore chances to do outdoor shooting since low-light indoors hates me without owning a flash gun. lolz~kidding, just loving the sun and nature. :)

The competition was held at the Watersport Complex, Putrajaya.
Never step my foot there and just figure out that it's at PICC nearby, where the fireworks been.
At first I thought it's an indoor complex or..........? It turned out that it's just built beside the Putrajaya lake. *whee*

.....and omg, here's my favorite architecture.

Here's where the spectator will be seated.
This is the meeting point for all participants with their boat...

.....and you can see a lot of fit and muscular guys walking around.
well, you should take up some rowing session if you want it as well. lol

the Singapore team

Indonesia team.

(hmmm, not all laaaaa..there's some exception without the muscle too. haha!)

you can't be missing out great camera gadgets flashing out in this kinda event.
all the pros.

When the competition started,
all rushing out from their shades and start shooting.

as expected, my 18-105mm not working out well for this kind of long-distance shot.
switch lens with KeatMeng for awhile...

row harder man! we gonna win this!

even split second is important for the competition...
see how 'kan cheong' (nervous) of the spectators were?

but honestly, I didn't enjoy much of the competition.
It was around 10-11am tat time..and the hot sun has been killing me!

*hot until the little girl oso frowned*

you can see everyone is frowning...
I'm kind of disappointed too when I figure out all the dragonboat looks the same.
cz I thought each team has their own dragonboat design. or at least some good ones.
these just look plain and boring. =.="

still, it's quite a great experience attending this event. :)
